NDSU Tartan
The North Dakota State University Tartan is a trademarked pattern created by a past student. Our task with this project was to develop concepts for a line of new products featuring the Tartan to be sold at the campus Bookstore. Each group was given a product category. My products were focused on leisure sports. The images to the right represent the concepts pitched to the Bookstore for potential products.
Style Loft
As part of the final project for a Product Development course I took, we were to work in groups to develop a line of products. This project included various requirements such as completing cost sheets to the design of three complete looks. The image to this left is the inspiration board and the image below are the designs for the Autumn/Winter 18/19 season for our brand, Style Loft. Our target customer is in her 30's, has a stable job, so can afford to pay a little more her her clothes, and loves unique details. Through this project, we were able to discover more about sourcing, and where we would want to have our products manufactured to keep a good margin to make a profit.
